Yum Yum Restaurant, which has been operating in Toronto for over 20 years, moved out to Brampton recently, and is located on George Street North. Located at the former site of La Capannina, which closed down after a fire in August 2018, Yum Yum opened up at the end of October 2019, offering Jamaican cuisine to the residents of Brampton.
The main feature is the all-you-can-eat buffet, with a number of items for customers to try, including oxtail, curried goat and several versions of chicken, including “Yum Yum chicken,” a sweet and sour chicken with a spicier side. Shrimp and fish make up the seafood portion of the menu. The all you can eat buffet will only cost $14.99. The joint also offers many lunch specials for $10 and under.
All of these items are available at the buffet or can be cooked up a la carte or for takeout. Arrangements are in place for deliveries. The restaurant is owned by partners Devon Hamilton and Caron Simpson and can seat up to 200 guests. There are private rooms available for parties or meetings. Parking is also available.
